Founder Members / Board

Kumar Subramanian
CEO

Kumar has over 18 years of banking experience in Asia, and has worked for Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, HDFC Bank and IDBI Bank. He has established and managed large banking operations such as the retail assets business and handled large projects related to the centralization and implementation of large scale core-banking systems. He has extensive general managerial experience, especially with respect to start-up banking operations. Kumar is a mechanical engineer and has a post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering in Mumbai, India.

Niket Patankar
Director and CEO, Adventity Inc.

Niket has several years of investment banking and entrepreneurial experience most significantly with CSFB, DLJ and Peregrine Capital. He has advised senior management at leading Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and Asia in the Technology, Utilities, Energy and Chemical industries. He concluded financing deals worth USD 7 Billion and USD 12 Billion of M&A transactions. Niket is an electronics engineer with a Management Graduate Degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute in Mumbai, India.

Vivek Arora
Co-Founder & COO

Vivek has several years of experience in consulting and business development with Citicorp, HDFC Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and MphasiS. In the four years before Adventity, he headed the UK and Middle East profit centers for MphasiS and was a key member for starting up the company's Singapore and Japanese businesses. While at PwC, he established the Information Technology Strategy practice for the financial services sector. His previous banking and consulting experience includes project implementation for core banking applications, online banking, CRM and business intelligence and designing technology architectures for Citibank, Shinsei Bank, Emirates Bank, and BNP Paribas, among others. Vivek is an electronics engineer with a Management Graduate Degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, India.
